Howard Jones

Howard Jones earned a Fine Arts degree in 1988, specializing in sculpture and time-based media. After a successful career in film, he has returned to his passion for sculpture.
His fascination with the multifaceted nature of objects, which began with his interest in theatre design, continues to influence his work. In his head sculptures, Jones merges the intricacies of muscles and bone into a single, unified form. His other pieces contrast polished and raw stone, exploring the interplay between completion and imperfection.
Jones also creates illuminated alabaster works, highlighting the stone’s inner beauty while juxtaposing its smooth surfaces with rugged, unfinished edges.
